Hi, I’m Dadang Angler. I play Fishing Planet as SundaneseAngler, currently level 106, and this site is where I write down exactly how I catch the fish I catch. Not the theory, not a copy of the in-game bait list, but the real setup I use on my own account, tested and proven.
I started this site for a simple reason. Most Fishing Planet guides I ran into were clearly written by people who had never actually caught the fish they were describing. Generic bait lists, no real spots, no proof, just words. By the time I had worked my way up to the endgame maps, I knew the difference between advice that works and advice that only sounds right, so I decided to write down the setups that actually land fish and show the catch on screen to back them up.
That is the promise behind every guide here. When I tell you to fish a spot at a specific coordinate with a specific rod and bait, it is because that is where I caught mine, with the weight and the XP on screen to prove it. If I have not tested something myself, I say so plainly instead of dressing it up as experience.
What You’ll Find Here
- Per-level setups with the exact rod, reel, line, hook, sinker, and bait for each stage of the game
- Full map guides, from the early lakes to endgame saltwater like Skårland Fjord and Kaiji No Ri
- Single-fish guides with the exact spot, coordinate, and rig for specific trophy catches
- Feature walkthroughs when they help, like how Fishing Together co-op actually works
I also post catches and quick tips daily on TikTok as @fishingplanetsetup.com, where some of these fish have passed hundreds of thousands of views. If you want the fast version, that is the place. If you want the full setup written out, you are already in the right one.
How I Work
I am not sponsored by the developers, and I am not here to sell you gear you do not need. When a paid pack is a genuine shortcut, I will tell you, and I will also tell you how to get the same result without spending anything. When a fish needs an expensive rod, I will say why. The point of this whole site is simple: help you land the fish faster with a setup that actually works, and back it up with proof instead of guesswork.
I am Sundanese, from Indonesia, which is where the SundaneseAngler name comes from. Fishing Planet has taken up a good chunk of my free time for a while now, and the cold Norwegian maps are the ones I keep coming back to. They are brutal, they punish lazy gear, and landing a trophy out there never gets old. That is the feeling I want to help you reach faster.
Have a question, a correction, or a spot you want me to test? Reach me through the site or on TikTok. Tight lines.
